Washington High School of the Performing and Visual Arts, a public magnet high school. Mitchell is the youngest of three siblings. They include Kristina Kristie Mitchell. Katherine Day Kate Mitchell was born in the same year. Mitchell received a bachelors degree in Fine Arts from Stephens College as well as a degree from the British American Drama Academy.
