Awkwafina
Awkwafina, an American actor and singer, began with a series of rap songs which dealt with the subject of sexuality and race. The career of the singer and actress grew to Hollywood following the release of a series of raps. Nora Lum, born in Forest Hills Queens to Chinese and Korean immigrants was her very first musical encounter. She was a trumpet player. Alongside classical music and jazz, she started to study hip-hop during her teens. In her studies, she majored in journalism, and women's studies, and was studying Mandarin in Beijing during a brief time. It wasn't until after graduating that she turned her attention on music. The song My Vag, a response track to Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity through the Internet in 2012. The track was later included in her first album Yellow Ranger released in 2014. The album featured other hit songs that went viral, such as the body-positive Queef and the winking tour of her hometown NYC Bitche$1. The last track was linked directly to Awkwafina's NYC travel guide, which was published in 2015. In addition to having published a book and a singer, she was also a professional singing. She has appeared in films like Neighbors 2 Storks as well as Bad Rap. In the year 2018, she was offered several major roles like Dude Ocean's 8 or Crazy Rich Asians. In June she released In Fina We Trust.
