Sharon Yvonne Stone was born on March 10 the year 1958 in Meadville, Pennsylvania, to accountant Dorothy Lawson and tool and die manufacturer and former factory worker Joseph William Stone II. Michael, Kelly, Patrick and Dorothy Lawson are her three siblings. Stone was considered to be exceptionally gifted in her academics when she entered the second grades at five. Saegertown Senior High School in Saegertown Pennsylvania was the place where she received her diploma in 1975. She was crowned Miss Crawford County, she also participated in the Miss Pennsylvania Beauty Pageant. Stone relocated together with her aunt from New Jersey, where she pursued a career in modeling. A month later, Stone signed up at the Ford Modeling Agency. Soon after, Stone relocated to Europe and spent the whole year living in Milan in Italy and Paris. Stone unhappy with the world of model within Europe took up acting as she lived in Europe. The film of Woody Allen, "Stardust Memories", got mixed praise when she was 20.
